Dark Invasion - Indie feature length Sci-fi / Action drama
A highly original and commercial genre Sci-fi / Action feature film, set in the near future when the earth is invaded by an alien creature that is global in size, lives in shadow and kills by night. With ninety nine percent of the global population killed within a week of it's invasion, a lone and reclusive ingenious inventor steps-up and proves to be the rallying point for humankind. Using green technology he manages to save and defend himself before using the same technology on a larger scale, he in the founder and center of a humanities resistance, with his new allies he takes the offensive to the alien.
Location: To be shot in the UK
Presently seeking finance and a commercially minded producer/s or possible co-producers that have preferably had experience in making and selling a genre feature film internationally and has an established relationship with an international sales company. Essentially they have previously attended international sales markets and successfully negotiated film sales and distribution in several territories with proven accountable income revenue streams. If you fit the bill and would like to know more please get in touch.
We hope to raise funding from product placement (now a legal source of funding in the UK) as the lead character is an inventor scientist, a die-hard enviromentalist who invents and surroundes himself in green technology, his home inside and outside has the latest green tech, infact the use of this tech innitially saves his life and vital to how he manages to defend himself from attack and eventaully start fighting back. Several newly developed products, on and coming soon, on to the market could be featured in the film. It would therefore be good to find a co-producer who would be keen to find funding from this potential highly lucrative source of funding.
